EDUCATION PATHWAY
The Study Pathway of BSA is benchmarked with internationally and nationally recognized qualifications/certifications and is carefully designed to suit students in Vietnam. It is developed for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12, combining the National Education Program with the International Education Program provided by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE, formerly known as CIE - Cambridge International Examinations, is one of the most popular education programs in the world and has been om offer in more than 10,000 schools in 160 countries).
In addition to the qualifications being granted in compliance with the Vietnamese National Education System, students will be provided with opportunities to take part in the examinations organized by CAIE and awarded the following qualifications up on successful completion of these examinations: - Cambridge Primary Checkpoint (Grade); - Cambridge Secondary Checkpoint (Grade 9); - Cambridge IGCSE; - Cambridge AS and A Level These Qualifications are internationally recognized and carry the same value as the ones in all other Cambridge International School in the world.
EDUCATION PROGRAMME
Blue Sky Academy provides students with a solid foundation by delivering a harmonious combination of 3 programmes: the National Education Programme, the Cambridge International Programme and the Comprehensive Development Programme as well, preparing them to be successful in life and higher education whilst preserving Vietnamese values.
1- National Programme
With the motto of “optimizing the programmes by the Ministry of Education and Training”, BSA has been implementing the National Primary Program in the direction of reducing the workload to help students master the core knowledge of each grade and enable them to take the tests and certificates as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, and to accquire knowledge in an easy and effective way in accordance with the physical characteristics of each grade level.
The learning outcomes and qualifications are recognized and accredited by the Ministry of Education and Training and have equal validity with those in the top public schools of the national education system.
2- Cambridge International Programme
Selected and taught entirely in English, comprised of 3 subjects:
- English as a Second Language;
- Mathematics;
- Science.
The programme focuses on developing language skills, knowledge of science and mathemmatics. The purpose is not only for the students to acquire new academic knowledge and skills but also to become familiar with the methods, to consider the problems and challenges from many diffirent perspectives to develop critical thingking.
3- Comprehensive Development Programme
The Comprehensive Development Programme at BSA provides alternative learning oppoturnities for students through a variety of activities supporting the comprehensive development of both physical and aesthetic talent as well as necessary life skills.
- ICT;
- Physical Education: Swimming, Basketball, Football;
- Aesthetic Education: Music (including singing and playing instrumental), Dance/ Dance Sport, Art, craft and Design;
- Life Skills Education;
- Practical Outdoor Activity;
- Culture Event and Festival;
- Academic/ Talent Competition;
- Community Activities.
